Olds & District Hospice Society is so excited to announce an opportunity to share our project with everyone on Wednesday January 28, 2015.
With the help of our communities, the Olds & District Hospice Society has been working for over 2 years to help provide a home-like environment to support those facing end of life. Through various fundraising activities, like the Hike for Hospice, the society has been working hard pave the way for a very innovative approach to hospice care. We are renting two suites from Sunrise Encore, a new supportive living facility in Olds, to offer to our communities this no charge option. The Hospice Society is delighted to invite you to a short presentation and viewing of the suites at two different times for your convenience. The O&DHS invite you to join us at 2 pm or 7 pm for a “Tea and Tour” on Jan. 28/15. We are looking to have the suites available for Feb. 1/2015.
As we start the new year we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported us in this project thus far and please know that you have made a difference in the lives of those who face end of life.
We would also like to thank those who supported the Hospice Tree of Remembrance….your donation and the names of those you remember are carved in our stars, and they will continue to share in the support of others through the Society as we are present to bring awareness and share the care.
